Getting a delivered price
At checkout, the buyer gets a live Freightcom rate — the cheapest service available — from the seller's pickup address to their own. The buyer pays that rate.
Who books the carrier
Norpex books the carrier and pays it. Freight is not part of the sale price: it is not commissioned, and none of it is paid to the seller.
Pickup-only listings
A pickup-only listing carries $0 freight. The buyer collects the item themselves, and the pickup details appear on the order page once payment is made.
Handling time
The seller has the item ready for the carrier within the handling time stated on the listing:
- 3 business days by default.
- Crated or palletized where the unit needs it.
- Flagged on the listing if a liftgate or forklift is needed to move it.
