What we collect, and when
Browsing the marketplace needs no account and no sign-in. Personal information reaches Norpex only when you send it:
- A quote request: your name, business, email, phone, province and the message you write.
- A consignment, valuation or financing enquiry: the contact details and equipment details on that form.
- An account: your email address, and the name, business and address you choose to save.
Why we hold it
To answer you. Quote requests and enquiries are worked by Norpex staff, so the details you send are visible to the staff handling them, and they are kept as a record of the enquiry.
A seller you ask about a specific unit will be told what they need to answer — typically the equipment, your region and your timeline.
Passwords
Norpex customer accounts have no password. Signing in sends a single-use link or code to your email address, so there is no password of yours for this site to store or to lose.
Who else sees it
Norpex uses service providers to run the site and send email, and they process this data on Norpex's instructions. Norpex does not sell personal information and does not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Your choices
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it — use the contact page or reply to any email from us. We keep enough of a record to meet tax and business-record obligations, and we will say so if that limits a deletion.
