Equipment that cannot be listed
Norpex will not publish a listing for:
- Stolen or recalled equipment.
- A unit with a safety device defeated or removed.
- Counterfeit or misbranded goods.
- Equipment the seller does not own or cannot deliver.
- A unit with a refrigerant leak, sold as working.
Gas appliances
A gas appliance needs Canadian certification — CSA, cUL, ETL-c or equivalent — to be listed as ready to use. A unit without that certification must say so plainly in the listing, and must be graded Poor.
Never sold on Norpex
Some things are outside the marketplace altogether:
- Food, alcohol and tobacco.
- Weapons.
- Hazardous materials.
What a listing cannot say
A listing cannot advertise a service or another website, and cannot carry contact details or links in its text — that kind of listing text is refused at save, not published and removed later.
