Every listing must be honest about condition
A seller must describe the unit as it actually is, photograph the actual unit rather than a catalogue image, and disclose known faults. A listing that hides a known fault is removed and the seller is reviewed.
What the grades mean
Condition grades are the seller's assessment unless the unit is Norpex Certified, in which case they are the inspector's:
- Like new — barely used, no cosmetic damage, everything functions.
- Very good — light cosmetic wear, fully functional.
- Good — normal commercial wear, functional, may need minor parts.
- Fair — heavy wear or a known issue, described in the listing.
- For parts or repair — not represented as working.
Tested working, NSF and warranty flags
"Tested working" means the unit was powered up and run. It is a statement about a moment, not a guarantee about the future. An NSF marker reflects the unit's certification as manufactured; a modified or heavily repaired unit may no longer meet it. A warranty appears on a listing only when the seller offers one in writing — otherwise the unit is as-is.
What is not allowed
Listings are removed for any of the following, and repeat offences remove the seller:
- Stolen goods, or equipment the seller cannot show they own.
- Stock photos passed off as the unit, or photos of a different unit.
- Contact details, off-site links or payment instructions hidden in the description.
- Equipment that cannot legally be resold, or that has had a safety device defeated.

If a listing looks wrong, tell us through the contact page with the listing address. A human reads every report.
