Buying
Open a listing and get a delivered price: the item, plus a live freight rate to your address (or $0 for a pickup-only listing), plus tax where it applies. Pay by card through Stripe Checkout for that one listing — there is no running list to build up first.
Norpex holds the payment until delivery is confirmed. See Payments and Buyer protection for what that covers.
Selling
Sign in, apply to sell, and once Norpex approves the application, add a pickup address and connect payouts with Stripe — Stripe hosts the bank-details form, and Norpex never sees or stores your bank account numbers.
Selling costs a commission and a card processing fee, both taken out of the payout, explained with a worked example before you list and itemised on each sale. See Fees and payouts for the numbers.
Getting paid
Norpex holds a buyer's payment until delivery, or pickup, is confirmed. The buyer then has time to report a problem before Norpex releases the seller's payout to their Stripe account, which Stripe pays out to the seller's bank on its own schedule.
Talking to the other side
Buyers and sellers talk through Norpex messages only. A message that shares a phone number, an email address, a social or messaging-app contact, a link, or an offer to pay outside Norpex is blocked automatically, and recorded against the sender. Once an order is paid, the order page shows each side the pickup or delivery contact they actually need.
If something goes wrong
A buyer who does not receive an order, or receives something materially different from the listing, reports it on the order page within 3 business days of delivery. Norpex reviews every report and refunds from the held payment where it is owed.
