Who can sell
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract to sell on Norpex.
Beyond that, selling needs three things:
- An application approved by Norpex staff.
- A complete pickup address.
- Payouts set up with Stripe.
Setting up payouts
Stripe hosts the form where you add your bank details — Norpex never sees or stores your bank account numbers.
If a sale is refunded or the buyer's bank reverses the card payment (a chargeback) after you have been paid, you authorize Norpex to take that payout back from your Stripe balance, and Stripe to debit the bank account you connected if your balance cannot cover it. If Norpex wins the dispute, the payout is sent to you again.
Keeping a listing accurate
Describe the unit as it actually is, and keep the listing current — update or remove it once it is no longer available at that price or in that condition. Listing standards sets out what a description has to cover.
Answering buyers
Answer a buyer's message within 2 business days.
Honouring a sale
Honour the price on the listing, and do not cancel a paid order except for a genuine problem with the item or the sale.
Getting it to the carrier
Have the item ready for the carrier within the handling time stated on your listing — 3 business days by default. Crate or palletize it where that is needed, and say on the listing if a liftgate or forklift is required to move it.
What it costs
Selling costs a commission and a card processing fee, both deducted from your payout, explained with a worked example before the listing goes live and itemised on each sale. There is no listing fee and no monthly fee. See Fees and payouts for the numbers.
