Short answer
You need a liftgate if the delivery address has no loading dock or forklift. A freight trailer's floor sits at dock height, and the liftgate lowers the pallet from the truck to the ground. If you need one, arrange it with Norpex before paying, along with any delivery appointment or inside delivery.
A liftgate gets the pallet to the ground, not into the kitchen. Plan who will move it inside, with what equipment and over what route: curbs, steps, gravel and snow all matter with a heavy crate on a pallet jack.
If the equipment has to go through a building, up stairs or around tight corners, measure the path first and consider inside delivery or a moving or rigging company for the heaviest pieces.
