An InSinkErator SS-500 large capacity foodservice disposer, for restaurant and institutional dish rooms grinding food waste at the pot sink or dish table.
A totally enclosed induction motor at 1725 RPM with built-in thermal overload protection drives reverse-action shredding elements in a corrosion-resistant stainless steel grind chamber, on double-tapered roller bearings with triple lip seals. A 3/4" rubber isolation mount above the grind chamber cuts noise, and the package includes the mounting/bowl assembly, electrical control, syphon breaker, solenoid valve and flow control valve.
