Description
This Delfield 4472N-12 72″ Refrigerated Salad/Sandwich Prep Table delivers a front-breathing design that allows for flush installation against walls or other equipment, maximizing valuable floor space in busy kitchens. The unit uses a specialized forced-air cooling system to maintain safe product temperatures without drying out ingredients, even with the lid open. Constructed with a stainless steel top, front, and sides, this table provides a long-lasting and corrosion-resistant work surface able to withstanding the physical demands of high-volume sandwich and salad preparation.
The interior is designed with an ABS plastic liner that is resistant to leaks and dents. High-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation delivers superior thermal retention and structural rigidity throughout the cabinet. Each of the 3 doors is fitted with a functional recessed handle and a self-closing mechanism to maintain internal temperatures during rapid-fire service. The top rail is configured to hold 12 x 1/6 size pans, providing organized access to toppings and ingredients at a consistent 2°C to 4°C (36°F to 40°F).
The unit includes a full-length, 10″ wide cutting board that delivers an ample workspace for assembly and prep tasks. With industrial-grade 5″ casters included, the table can be easily moved for thorough floor cleaning. This prep station combines a large 24.8 cu. ft. storage capacity with precision cooling, making it a reliable centerpiece for high-traffic food service operations.
