Best Price Guarantee

Norpex’s pricing is built to be the best in Canada on the equipment we sell. If you find a lower advertised price from a verified Canadian competitor on an identical, in-stock item, we’ll match it — and credit you an additional 5% of the difference. Pre-purchase or up to 14 days post-purchase.

This is the policy that backs the homepage. We mean it.

The promise, plainly

  • Find a lower advertised price from a verified Canadian-incorporated dealer.
  • On an identical SKU/model/configuration, in stock at that competitor at the time you submit the claim.
  • Submit the claim with proof inside 14 days of your Norpex order date (or before placing your Norpex order).
  • We match the competitor’s price and credit you an additional 5% of the price difference.

Eligible competitors

To keep the comparison apples-to-apples, the competitor must be a real Canadian commercial equipment dealer:

  • Canadian-incorporated commercial food-service equipment dealer with a public website displaying real prices.
  • Examples include (but are not limited to): Nella, SINCO, KaTom Canada, Russell Hendrix, Pre-Owned Equipment Brokers, and similar dealers.
  • Item must be in stock at that competitor at the time of the claim — we can’t match against a “call for availability” or backorder listing.

Not eligible

  • US-only websites (we’re matching Canadian-delivered pricing only — currency, tariffs, and freight all materially different).
  • Marketplace listings: Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, etc.
  • Auction sites and liquidator listings.
  • Member-only or login-gated pricing visible only to that competitor’s B2B accounts (we can’t verify it).
  • Clearance, floor-model, dented, scratched, refurbished, or damaged stock — unless the Norpex item is also sold in that condition.
  • Custom-configured or special-order items where the configurations don’t exactly match.
  • Bundle pricing (their package, our standalone unit) — must be like-for-like.
  • Expired promotions, typos, or pricing errors. If a competitor’s “price” looks like a mistake (50% below market), it usually is.
  • Items sold at or below our cost — there’s a floor at which the math stops being possible.

Time window

  • Pre-purchase match: any time before you place the Norpex order. Submit the claim and we’ll apply the matched price at checkout.
  • Post-purchase match: within 14 calendar days of your Norpex order date. Submit the claim with proof and we issue the difference plus 5% as a credit or refund.

How to claim

Email pricematch@norpex.ca with:

  • Your name and (if post-purchase) your Norpex order number.
  • The link to the Norpex product page.
  • The link to the competitor’s product page showing the lower price.
  • A screenshot of the competitor’s page showing the price and stock status, with the URL bar visible and a current date if your browser shows one.
  • Any other context that helps us verify it’s the same item (config, voltage, etc.).

Decision

One business day. We verify the competitor’s listing, confirm stock status, confirm the SKU matches, and respond with the decision.

  • Approved, pre-purchase: we apply the matched price plus the 5% bonus discount at checkout.
  • Approved, post-purchase: we refund the difference plus 5% of the difference to your original payment method (typically settled within 5 business days).
  • Declined: we explain why — usually it’s a stock issue, configuration mismatch, or the competitor isn’t on the eligible list. If you disagree, push back; we’ll take a second look.

Why we offer this

Two reasons. First, we’re confident in our pricing. We’ve built Norpex to operate without showroom overhead specifically so we can be the best price online. Second, we’re not chasing one-off transactions — we want operators back for their next ten orders. A guarantee that we’ll never be undersold on identical product is the cheapest insurance policy we can offer to make that easier.

If you’re shopping a major purchase and you’ve found a lower price elsewhere, send it before you click buy on the other site. Two times out of three we can beat it; the third time, at least you’ll know you got the right price.
