The Crown Steam GL-100E stationary kettle has a steam jacket around the bottom two-thirds of the reservoir. This compartment, which is factory sealed and filled with purified water, envelops products with steam to provide an efficient, uniform heat source. It’s powered by natural gas and has an electronic ignition.

100 gallons of stew, soup, or chili can cook in the Crown Steam GL-100E stationary kettle at one time. When users must drain off liquid from the kettle, they can open the 2-inch valve. Temperatures inside the kettle are set with a thermostatic control. Stainless steel construction inside and outside the unit give it the durability to withstand use in a high-demand environment.
